Welcome to Doris and Daisy Knits - I have loved knitting for as long as I can remember. It began in childhood where I was taught to knit by my Nan (Doris) showing me the basics. From the beginning I loved the creativity it gave me - being able to create and make something unique and special by hand that no one else had.

Doris and Daisy started because i wanted to take the tradition of hand knits and make beautiful classic but practical clothing for the littlest people in our families. I choose my yarns carefully using acrylic yarn when there is a need for easy care everyday pieces - the bloomers jumpers and cardigans that after a messy lunch you can chuck them straight in the washing machine without worrying.

That being said I also know how special it is to receive and wrap your precious one in a keepsake piece. I love working with luxury yarns that are breathable offering incredible natural warmth and a heritage feel that makes them perfect for gifting.

By developing the range into some luxury pieces, i hope there's something ofr everyday of the week as well as the moments you'll want to remember forever xx ♥
